Safer Lewisham Bus Brings Advice to Local Residents

The Safer Lewisham Bus will be visiting five different locations across the borough from Monday 19th May until Friday 30th May.

The Local Safer Neighbourhood Police Teams will be attending so that residents can report crimes or discuss local problems.  Council Wardens and Crime Prevention Officers will also be available to offer advice and information.   

Residents will be able to find out about a wider range of police, Council, NHS and voluntary services which help communities to reduce crime. 

The bus will be visiting Deptford Market on Wednesday 21st May, from 11am until 3pm.  

The bus will also visit:

• Bell Green - Monday 19 May, 11am-3pm at Sainsbury's 
  
• Rushey Green - Tuesday 20 May, 11am-3pm at Plasey Road Car Park, Catford 
  
• Lewisham Shopping Centre -  Thursday 22 May, 4am-8pm 
  
• Forest Hill - Friday 30 May, 11am-3pm, opposite Sainsbury's, on London Road 
  

As part of National Tackling Drugs Week the bus will be providing additional information on services to help people tackle drugs or alcohol problems.
