A photo of me from my days as Chair of CND is currently on display at the National Portrait Gallery. The photo is on display in Room 38a and also been reproduced outside and as a postcard.
I would like to thank everyone who came to the Copenhagen meeting at Laban on the 17th of October.
I am pleased to announce that I have signed up to the 10:10 campaign. The campaign is aimed at encouraging individuals, business and schools to cut their emissions by 10% by 2010.
Today I would like to welcome the launch of Go-Ahead Bus Company’s ‘Go Green’ initiative. I have visited the New Cross Bus Garage and met with drivers and managers to learn about ‘Go Green’.
The Climate Change, Energy and Planning Bills have all become Acts of Parliament. These Acts of Parliament will transform the way we live.
