This year - 2012-13 - is the last year the Government will be funding the scheme, so anyone who thinks they may be eligible should apply as soon as possible.
Qualifying households can get improvements worth up to £3500 (or £6000 where oil central heating or other alternative technologies are recommended). People who are eligible don't have to pay anything as long as the work doesn't cost more than the value of the grant. Applicants must own their home or rent from a private landlord.
How do I apply?
You can apply online or email enquiry@carillionplc.com and ask an advisor to call you. Alternatively, call 0800 316 2805 (textphone 0800 072 0156) to speak to an advisor directly. Lines are open Monday to Friday 8am-6pm and Saturday 9am-5pm.
Is this linked to the Warm Home Discount scheme?
No, Warm Front is separate from the Warm Home Discount. The Warm Home Discount gives a discount on electricity bills for some groups of older people and those on low incomes with a disability, long-term illness or young children.
