It is an utter disgrace that even though we are the seventh richest country in the world we face an epidemic of hidden hunger, particularly in children. ![]() Mary Creagh MP, Labour’s Shadow Environment Secretary, commenting on the Government’s failure to introduce carbon reporting as required in the Climate Change Act, said: “The Conservatives were quick to parade their vote blue go green message in opposition, but in Government they have failed every environmental test. ![]() Today the Labour Party has launched a new climate change pledge calling for the Government to take action to tackle climate change, ahead of the UN conference in Durban later this month. The Feed-in tariff changes, which could cause chaos in the solar industry and affect tens of thousands of jobs, should be announced in the Commons Chamber, so MPs can hold the Government to account. |
